Job Description

Supply Chain Manager

🌍 Remote - EST Coast US

Join a VC backed digital fitness company, combining science and the latest technical innovations to optimize physical performance. With successful sales to leading US-based sports teams, the company is looking to scale their supply chain department, seeking a highly motivated and skilled Supply Chain Manager to join their growth.


As the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and production planning. And ensuring that supply chain runs smoothly and efficiently, while maintaining high levels of quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement production plans that ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to customers.
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and vendor management.
  • Oversee logistics and distribution operations.
  • Manage a team of supply chain professionals, providing leadership, guidance, and support.
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies and policies that support business objectives and goals.


Requirements:

  • Experience taking a supply chain department from 0-1.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, inventory management, and production planning.
  • Hybrid with occasional travel to Louisville/Texas/Tennessee. EST coast based required.
  • 3+ years' of supply chain experience, at a scaling start-up company.
  • Experience working in a fitness, sports, or medical device company is preferred.
