Supply Chain Manager Jobs

Over the last 20 years, they have grown into a global matrix across 56 countries, 90 global plants and over 30,000 employees. After their lean excellence programme was formed 20, their success has been unlimited. They have been ambitious corporate goals and have performed acqusitions that have taken them into new spaces in the market and constant innovation is applied to their product lines.

With this, a particular division has been formed due to a tactical acqusition, concentrating on the electrification of energy. A particular site in Colorado is a key player for this division moving forwards and a strong leadership style is acquired to take the supply chain to excellence and provide further market success. With this, they are looking for a Supply Chain Manager, to take ownership across this site, pin point and access continuous improvement opportunities end to end and take the site to the potential it has.

An few examples of the Job Duties

• Train and guide employees
• Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes
• Maintain supply chain inventory and records
• Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
• Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
• Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues
• Create the company's supply chain strategy
• Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
• Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery,)
• Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly
• Evaluate and report on KPIs
• Implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain (e.g. forklifts)

Position Requirements

• 4+ years related experience as a Supply Chain Manager
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong decision-making skills
• 5+ years of experience with SAP
• Previous experience as a supply chain manager or in a similar field
• Good Communications Skills (Oral and Written)
• Bachelor‘s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field
• Team player\building positive working relationships
• Proven problem-solving skills and excellent customer service skills
