Supply Chain Director Jobs

An exciting Automotive organization is looking to add a Director, Supply Chain to their growing team! You will be responsible for leading and developing a supply chain team, while managing end to end Supply Chain processes with a heavy focus in Planning, Forecasting and Procurement of direct materials. This is a strategic and pivotal position, allowing you to work cross-functionally, lead a team, and aid in the success and growth plans of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee strategic sourcing processes for direct materials/commodities
• Negotiate key contracts with both Domestic and International Suppliers
• Set Strategies to enhance Logistics, Transportation, and Warehousing operations
• Engage in cross-functional projects, providing exceptional Project Management insight
• Develop/Drive KPIs to create a transparent and competitively advantaged supply chain
• Actively seek supply chain optimization opportunities & cost savings
• Develop and lead a Supply Chain team
• Lead plans to drive continuous improvement
• Oversee all Demand and Supply planning processes

Qualifications:

• Proven ability to lead a team
• Ability to work Cross-Functionally
• Automotive Manufacturing expereince perferred
• Excellent ERP, SAP, Microsoft Office experience required
• Bachelor's in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or similar field required, MBA preferred
• 10+ years' experience in Supply Chain
• Strong background and knowledge of supply chain processes
