Job Overview
The Supervisor of Brand Transformation has direct responsibility for Target Operating Model (TOM) implementation including but not limited to the joint operations hub for our Canada and US marketing operations (North America Experience Center). Thereby, the position drives Mercedes-Benz brand marketing processes across North America. Position will oversee the strategic marketing roadmap of TOM packages and analyze its impact to the overall business. The supervisor of brand transformation develops and steers Top End Vehicle marketing strategy to support brand transformation. Position works closely with the management to oversee all plans and ensure all strategies are effectively deployed to reach goals identified, tracked and reported. Working closely with various internal and external stakeholders as required to ensure maximum efficiencies and brand benefits are achieved the position has also considerable involvement into budget planning and ongoing reporting. Position is part of a diverse and dynamic brand marketing team that emphasizes empowerment, innovative and agile working spirit.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with headquarter units to ensure alignment with project objectives and goals.
  • Effectively strategize, present and implement target operation model packages.
  • Increase efficiency and collaboration among team members by identifying and implementing process improvements and best practices. 5%
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communication, including regular status updates and project reviews. Prepare executive management communications that properly illustrate progress, decision points and end goals. 10%
  • Lead the Top End Vehicle (TEV) brand growth strategy, including stakeholder steering in close collaboration with the Supervisor Brand Management and lead the collaboration with the TEV sales teams on behalf of Brand Marketing. 15%
  • Special project management as it relates to the overall success of marketing initiatives, including the management of one-off programs that prove brand growth and improved positioning for MBUSA. – 10%
  • Limited travel may be required
  • Lead the implementation of the joint operations hub for our Canada and US marketing operations (North America Experience Center). 30%
  • Manage the entire project lifecycle, from planning to execution and monitoring, to ensure the successful delivery of the project within the agreed timelines, scope, and budget.
  • Direct supervision of the marketing budget development (in partnership with the General Manager of Brand) and all ongoing reporting and alignment assurance to the marketing strategy. – 10%
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate a smooth adoption of the new joint operations hub. Challenge overall transformation plans with theories rooted in data and proven methodologies for successful KPI’s. 20%
Qualifications
Qualifications/ Education
  • Must have strong Powerpoint skills. Position requires strong presentation development.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or other related field(s).
  • Must be able to multi-task, re-prioritize, and adapt to rapidly changing needs and fast pace environments.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive industry a plus.
  • Must possess advanced verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Additional languages are beneficial, especially German language knowledge appreciated.
  • Must have a minimum of 5-7 years (total) of relevant work experience.
