Hourly Wage: $11/hour
Duties:
Customer service: Greet visitors and respond to their questions.
Financial transactions: Make financial transactions; balances transactions at the end of the day; prepares bank statements, makes deposits.
Inventory/Operations: Assists staff in maintaining, sales, and propagation of plant stock
Average Number of Hours per Week: 20 hours
Schedule: Flexible during our normaql hours of operation: 8 am - 4 pm. Saturdays are mandatory except for excused absences approved by Gardens Director.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicant must have a current Federal Work Study (FWS) award for the current academic year in order to apply for this position. Additional Information for Applicants: This is primarily an office position, but requires some outdoors work as needed. This is a botanical garden so the applicant should be prepared fort this, apprecaite plants and be interested in working with the public and as part of a team.
