Job Description

Dunne Kozlowski is hiring a part-time Studio Manager to support a wide range of office and project-related tasks for an interior design and architecture firm in Humboldt Park. The person in this role will be responsible for office administration and organization and coordinating project-related orders and purchases as supervised by senior staff. This position requires someone with a high level of organization, good people skills, the ability to multi-task, and can perform well under pressure. Plus, they need to be detail-oriented, have the computer and accounting skills necessary to generate purchase orders and client estimates and monitor the receipt and delivery of goods. An ideal candidate for this role is a self-starter, highly motivated to learn, and a problem solver who pushes beyond what is asked and earns additional responsibility. An interest in interior design is preferred.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Procurement order coordination
  • Supporting business development & marketing efforts
  • Studio organization and scheduling
  • Executing administrative tasks
  • Supporting senior staff and Principal with administrative duties as needed
  • General office support


Secondary Responsibilities

  • Ensuring office standards and processes
  • Organizing and maintaining the studio and material library
  • Assist with material and sample orders
  • Administrative and studio support
  • Communication with Project Managers and Interior Designers throughout the client project process
  • Assist with new employee onboarding
  • Create warranty packages
  • Tracking vendor payments and orders
  • Maintaining project pricing sheets and other procurement-related documentation
  • Assist with shipments of packages
  • Generate client estimates
  • Keep track of office supplies and order when needed
  • Retrieving mail and packages daily
  • Obtaining vendor quotes as directed
  • Assist with scheduling internal and external meetings
  • Assist Interior Design Team with any necessary tasks to ensure the successful completion of projects
  • Manage office calendar and contact list
  • Assist with putting together proposals and following up with potential clients
  • Placing orders
  • Writing purchase orders


Skills

  • Proactive, collaborative, and clear communication
  • Knowledge of Quickbooks
  • Detail-oriented & organized
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is preferred but not required


Schedule

20-24 hours per week, part-time


Preferred Schedule:

  • 8 hrs Tuesday and Thursday, 4 hrs Wednesday (In-Office Work)
  • 2-4 hrs Monday and Friday (Remote Work)
  • The schedule is negotiable, but in the office is required


Compensation

Hourly pay based on experience.
