Summary of Position:

The Student Success Assistant is part of a team of top-notch customer service professionals who ensure Princeton Review students achieve their goals through outstanding student experience. Student Success Assistants interact with enrolled students and parents by telephone and email and provide expert advice, timely information, and compassionate customer support. Student Success Assistants are empowered with the tools, resources, and permissions to always do what’s best for our students, which drives the word-of-mouth that is critical to the organization’s success.  This is a part-time position with a required Saturday (full day) and four evenings (4-hours each) per week for a total of 24 hours.

Major Responsibilities:

  1. Support enrolled students and their parents across all TPR programs through outstanding phone and email customer service aimed at ensuring a delightful and frustration-free experience.
  2. Respond to incoming calls, requests, and needs of students/parents in a timely and professional manner.
  3. Deliver effective student communications with timely, accurate, and compelling information using the brand’s voice.
  4. Serve as a liaison between students and team members; resolve student/parent issues.
  5. Document all student and parent contact to ensure continuity of customer service and provide data to improve all aspects of the customer experience.
  6. Provide basic technical support to ensure students can access their Dashboards and Online Classrooms across standard platforms.
  7. Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of department's activities.
  8. Collaborate within the team and with the Operations Manager to meet and exceed the needs of our students and teachers.
  9. Provide great advice, support, and follow-up to prospective students and their parents to ensure that they choose The Princeton Review for their test preparation, academic prep, and admissions needs.
  10. Other duties as assigned.

Education, Background, Experience & Qualifications:

  1. Enthusiastic, confident, and optimistic demeanor with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  2. Ability to manage your own time and work remotely from your manager, teammates, and clients.
  3. Strong written and oral communication skills.
  4. Ability to deliver strong customer service with empathy and compassion for students and parents.
  5. Experience working collaboratively to achieve objectives.
  6. An ethic of personal responsibility; a need to hold yourself accountable on behalf of a team.
  7. Modern tech fluency, including the ability to manage your responsibilities using various communication platforms, Microsoft Office tools, and proprietary platforms.
  8. Experience in the fields of test preparation, academic support, or online education a plus.
  9. Experience in an Operations, customer/client services, or related roles.

Pay Rate: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour based on a 24-hour work week.
