We are looking for a Strategic Health Systems Director to support our clients in the Mid-Atlantic region. This role is responsible for deploying a regional health system strategy that will work across the region and/or are specific to the health system. In this role, you will be responsible for the development of a regional account strategy to drive rapid sales growth across targeted regional IDN/Health Systems.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Developing strategic relationships with C-suite and D-suite stakeholders within the IDN/Health System(s) through Sales Process Utilization to identify customer needs, in order to create and execute a top-down/bottom-up iRhythm sales strategy, in partnership with the field sales organization, focused on Zio sales growth, achieving quarterly and annual sales
  • Work system-wide to connect with stakeholders to influence Zio expansion opportunities in line with IDN/Health System goals. Build a strong Zio brand and relationship at the Service Line Administrator and C-Level within flagship hospital(s) and health
  • Lead marketing and/or sales promotion programs tied to National account strategy
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to drive Sales Strategies and growth projects: Payer Market Access, Marketing/Customer Experience, IT, R&D, Clinical Operations, Customer Care, Sales Operations, Finance,
  • Work with iRhythm internal stakeholders and sales leaders to:
  • Align IDN/Health System sales strategy and tactics, focusing on market growth and expansion, and partnering with field leadership to drive results
  • Identify and create clinical and administrative champions that internally drive the education of the Zio Platform Value
  • Develop and facilitate routine field communication strategy and/or training as needed to ensure field execution of National Account strategy
  • Growth of the Zio Platform in these 5 Regional Health Systems through Standardization of Zio Platform across the entire health system through an enterprise approach, to include: Platform Standardization, Drive Zio applications into system-wide expansion – PCP, ED, TAVR, Home Enrolment, etc., New Account Expansion, EHR integration, CX Deployment, and KAM Utilization.
  • Ambulatory monitoring of educational initiatives and fellowship programs
  • Guide field prioritization of target accounts within the IDN/Health System, focusing on new accounts with warm lead generation while also increasing penetration and protecting the base of existing accounts
  • Negotiate Regional Account agreements, as needed, for Zio Service solutions, inclusive of Security Reviews and/or distributor or channel partner marketing as applicable
  • Leverage HEOR and Population Health Initiatives
  • Drive Market Development Initiatives through each Health System
  • Maintain intimate knowledge of regional IDN driving forces; Leverage this knowledge to create a system-level Zio platform value proposition in-line with what the customer is trying to solve. A strategic business approach that identifies relevant customer needs prioritizes initiatives and company investments and establishes a clear action plan for
  • Implement a thorough account planning process to align the local sales team on specific account-level strategies, objectives, and timelines
  • Develop and execute monthly/quarterly progress reports and forecasts to VP US Sales, along with an annual “State of the Union” Address for iRhythm Senior Leadership Team to quantify the impact of the regional health system pilot program.
What We Need To See
  • Ability to travel 20-40% of the time or as needed.
  • Data-driven, analytical, and operational
  • Must be knowledgeable about value-based care and population health. Be able to articulate “Why Zio” as it pertains to those topics.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, and commercial strategy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably in Business
  • Experience selling innovative/disruptive platforms into the healthcare space
  • Healthcare economics and systems knowledge, including healthcare system delivery understanding
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills of the highest quality and effectiveness
  • Proven track record of strategic selling and thinking.
