REI is looking for bold people who are ready to drive daily operations of an REI store with $5-$30 million in sales volume! As the head of the Retail Management Team, you are for all store functions associated with running a retail income center to achieve sales, service, membership, customer satisfaction, and profitability goals. Join our retail team where you will find supportive leadership, a committed staff and an engaging work culture. The scope of responsibility you can expect as Store Manager:

  • Ensure implementation and execution of visual merchandising standards
  • Monitor inventory levels, facilities and other assets
  • Create and reinforce a sales culture within the store, including the REI selling process, ensuring that service is prompt, knowledgeable and that customer expectations are met
  • Examine store-level reports and identify new strategies for improving results
  • Take responsibility for store’s profitability and financial budgeting
  • Take part in local organizations and community events
  • Develop top performers and evaluates performance
  • Develop, deploy and execute short and long term Retail Strategic Plans and a store vision that supports the achievement of the plan priorities through the management of and delegation to skilled Retail Sales Managers

  • Proven financial acumen to include: budgeting and forecasting sales, gross margin, inventory turns, expense control and net profit
  • Ability to develop and maintain open and positive relations within the local community
  • Proficiency in strategic planning and data examination
  • Extraordinary experience in Visual Merchandising
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills

The pay for this role is: $106348 - $159463 per year .
