Job Description
Game developers get to make fun innovative video and mechanical games for casinos. Games usually take months to complete, not years, and with a variety of innovative projects you sometimes brainstorm with other studios and technology groups, this creates fantastic growth opportunities. Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate risk associated with code changes and make informed decisions on what and when to make a change.
  • Work closely with Mathematicians, Artists, Audio Engineers, Designers, and Producers to create slot machine games that are delivered to the casino floor.
  • Participate in code validation and code reviews, perform unit tests, and other automated testing techniques.
  • Create shareable libraries to improve effectiveness and efficiency for the software development groups.
  • Create and modify gaming software applications by applying fundamental computer science techniques.
  • Document all aspects of written code.

Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise

Qualifications
  • One or more of the nice to have's below.
  • Experience in following standard conventions, being adaptable to standards, and leading others towards them as well.
  • Design pattern knowledge.
  • Passion for creating and ing games.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science, or relevant gaming industry experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with object-oriented programming languages, including C++, C#, JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, or other languages.
Nice to haves:
  • Slot experience
  • Experience in the console gaming industry is a huge plus (Station, XBOX, etc.)
  • Unity experience
