About this Position:

Create, implement solutions and provide mentorship to meet or exceed customer expectations based on requirements for daily operations to ensure the sustainment or enhancement of SQCDME.

Responsibilities include:

Review and analyze quality management systems (MQS – Manufacturing Quality Standard, CCP – Critical Control Point, Corrective Action, NCR – Non-Conformance Report) to confirm compliance and capability

Plan, implement, and track quality improvement projects; prepare presentations to show the status to management

Proficiently review 2D drawings, 3D drawings, CMM data, and surface deviation maps to make quality judgements and ensure quality objectives are being met

Execute quality containment procedures to control stamping part quality / CBU (Complete Body Unit) quality to prevent re-occurrence

Share technical knowledge through verbal and written information to all internal/external customers in support of root cause and countermeasure activity to strengthen dept and plant characteristics; ensure investigations are complete and root causes have been identified

Communicate and interact with material suppliers

Create handwork methods and verify accuracy to provide quality parts to the customer

Develop capabilities through technical training, mentoring, sharing of experience and equipment for team growth

Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:

0-6 years

Required Education:

4-year engineering degree or 6 years relevant technical experience

Desired skills:

The ability to use Catia, ATOS, FARO, PowerPoint, Excel, fixtures, and measurement tools is desired

Understand, implement, and follow the departments Quality Management System

Root cause analysis (5P, 8 Step, and quality measurement tools)
