Purpose of Position:

Under the general supervision, directs the development of the nursing regimen for patients within assigned units. Schedules, assigns, and guides nursing activities.

Responsibilities:

• Assesses the physical and psychological needs of the patient history taking
• Collaborates with providers to evaluate findings or health assessment
• Provides health teaching and conferencing to patient and/ or families with provisions for follow up as needed
• Evaluates patient's signs and symptoms to determine a nursing diagnosis and sets priority of care through triage, including phone triage
• Records and maintains current information on patients progress notes through written or computer documentation as required

ACLS/ PALS. & TNCC Certifications

Proficiency in English

Tour II: 9:00am-5:00pm
