Staff Nurse - Astoria Ii

ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP New York & New Jersey's premier ENT and Allergy medical practice, is seeking a self-motivated, people-friendly full time Staff Nurse for our Astoria II office. This position reports to the Senior Nurse and Medical Director of Allergy and Immunology. The purpose of this position is to provide full time nursing support services to the allergy physician. Key responsibilities include performing allergy testing, pulmonary function testing, administering allergy injections, monitoring for anaphylaxis, patient education, documenting care in our EMR system and obtaining authorizations. Applicant should be comfortable working with all ages from infant to geriatric. Requirements include: Excellent customer service skills Ability to work well in a team Competent working with computers Excellent verbal communication Ability to work under pressure Must possesses excellent time management skills including; Organization, Multitasking, Prioritization, and Resourcefulness.
