Mon through Thurs 8:15am-4:15pm; Fri 8:15am-3:00pm

Job Compensation
$65,000-$70,000 based on experience, education and certifications at the time of hire
Your Impact Here at MCC
- Work together with the nursing staff, faculty, and administration
- Staff trainings on basic first aid, seizure training, asthma and EpiPen administration
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Tending to staff medical needs
- In conjunction with nurse team, oversight of emergency situations and administration of emergency medications
- Daily medication administration (which may include via PEG tube and oral) for students ages 5-21 with autism spectrum disorder and other medical diagnoses
- Assessing children who feel ill and managing injuries
Requirements
- Experience working with children a must; experience with special needs preferred
- Valid Registered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
- Comfortable working with children that have a variety of behavior challenges (students would always have a staff member present when visiting the nurse)
- Motivation, dedication, and enthusiasm for training staff
