Staff Clinician, Licensure Track

Counseling Center - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (23002415)
The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a qualified clinician to join the University Counseling Center (UCC) as a Staff Clinician-Licensure Track. The Staff Clinician-Licensure Track, as part of the UCC's Post Masters Program, will provide direct and non-direct services to students, including but not limited to, individual, relationship/couples, and group therapy, clinical consultation, and outreach programming. The Staff Clinician-Licensure Track will have the opportunity to to gain expertise in Specialty Concentration Areas (SCAs) and serve on committees within and outside of the Center. Accredited by the International Accreditation of Counseling Services (IACS) and American Psychological Association (APA), the UCC exists to ensure healthy and thriving lives for University of Pittsburgh’s diverse student population by providing crisis intervention, outreach, workshops, group, individual, relationship/couples therapy, and teams to assist with disordered eating, gender affirmation, substance use, and trauma. Bachelor's degree required. Good academic standing in current Masters program with documented potential for graduation prior to hire date or successful Masters degree completion within the last year from an accredited Masters program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or Social Work. Preference may be given to applicants with experience/interest in at least one of the following areas: College Counseling, Crisis Management, Multicultural Care, Stepped Care, Telemental Health, Embedded Services, Psychological Assessments, Disordered Eating, Gender Affirmative Care , Trauma, Substance Use, Research, Graduate, Professional and International student concerns.
