Position: Sr. Technical Quotation Engineer- Nuclear

Report to Title: Manager, Quotation Engineering & Pricing

Location: Remote

Date: March 2023

Areas of Focus:
To be successful in this role, the Sr Technical Quotation Engineer must have strong technical and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. It will be critical to make strategic informed decisions based on data and analysis. Additionally, they must have a solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
Responsibilities:

• Work closely with customers and internal team members to resolve customer issues.
• Manage and lead tactical customer support while providing exceptional customer service.
• Conduct business reviews with customers ensuring clear communication and goal setting.
• Coordinate customer site visits and onsite regulatory audits.
• Develop and implement program strategies that align with the organization's goals.
• Assist in development of tools and information systems to optimize the quotation and order systems.
• Facilitate and support Business Reviews and drive to closure subsequent actions.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues across all projects within the program.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Travel required: 10%
• Plan, organize, direct and control program scope, schedule, and delivery.
• Develop customer quotations with accurate configurations, lead time and pricing by assessing market conditions and competitive offerings.
• Manage program/business area bid and proposal activity, compliance to contract and business/regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and report on project progress and status to senior leadership.

Basic Qualifications:

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Attention to detail
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite
