Job Description

Sr Sales Director based in Texas and work remotely


Main responsibilities:

Provides leadership, creation, planning, and implementation for the development of a new business unit with full P&L responsibility through the development and execution of the strategic operational plan, ensuring that the strategic objectives are aligned to support growth and the achievement of revenue, profit, and goals in a new line business in the HVAC industry.

We are looking for a proven track sales leader who can integrate and launch a complex new business, in domestic and international markets, creating new sales channels and leading management teams with an exceptional ability to create growth strategies at the nexus of market opportunities, client needs, and product development.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Active leadership, participation, and coordination with the sales representative and distributors to ensure the success of this key sales channel aligned with the strategy.
  • Provide strategic and business plans for continued research & development for this new line of business and new potential product lines.
  • Provide sales forecasts with feedback to the team in regard to relative market sales trends and product needs.
  • Develop and monitor the business line Budget and revenue and profit plans.
  • Interface with various support groups of the company and Factory to ensure appropriate support to all Sales channels.
  • Assigning quotas to individual rep firms and meeting prescribed plan sales targets for assigned regions. Assist in pricing projects from engineering submittals.
  • Senior commercial leader responsible for P & L and developing a new line of business in the Noth American domestic market.
  • Creation, planning, and implementation of the new Line of business, the strategies within the North American market plans and directs all aspects of policies, objectives, and initiatives to accomplish the sales targets.
  • Build an annual sales operational plan for North America aligned with company strategic objectives.
  • Assure to develop or expand upon back-end support including OEM manuals, alterations to marketing, rep firm sales training, technician training, critical parts inventory, etc.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC and systems, applications, and operations.
  • Specialties HVAC equipment, modular chillers, managing distributors, sales representatives Internet of Things (IoT) for HVAC, energy management, and aftermarket service support.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and or master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or similar.


Language Ability: English/Spanish ( desirable ).

Computer Skills: Sap/Salesforce.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Influence leadership and communication skills.

Work Environment: Very a demand for sales relations, distributors, and sales representatives.
