About Our Client
My client is a St. Louis based development firm with projects in the multifamily space. Their projects can range upwards of $50M in scope. In recent years, they have made efforts to expand into new markets - luxury apartments and commercial projects. They take part in early phases of the construction process for their clients to maximize the value and quality of projects. Their focus on innovation has allowed them to grow rapidly, resulting in multiple needs within their business. They are developing projects all across the U.S. and looking to add a Senior Project Manager to handle the team and build lasting relationships with their current and prospective clients.

  • Leading project teams, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, ensuring that their needs and expectations are understood and met.
  • Developing project plans, defining project scope, goals, and deliverables, and identifying required resources and budget.
  • Continuously improving project management processes, tools, and methodologies, and mentoring and coaching junior project managers to improve their skills and performance.
  • Communicating project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and team members.
  • Overseeing and managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.
  • Travel to job sites as needed.
  • Coordinate with the on site teams, General Contractor, subcontractors, etc.
  • Identifying, assessing, and managing project risks, and developing contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.

The Successful Applicant
  • Positive energy on and off-site
  • Ability to motivate self and others - can handle themselves well
  • Prior experience on multifamily projects required
  • Prior demonstrated leadership capacities
  • Experience with a general contractor
  • Experience with projects $20M+
  • 10-15+ years experience in the construction industry working in a Project Manager capacity
  • Working knowledge of project management software
  • Bachelor's degree required (construction related degree preferred)
