Job Description
Company Description

A career that’s the whole package!

At Conga, we’ve built a community where our colleagues can thrive. Here you’ll find opportunities to innovate, support for growth through individual and team development, and an environment where all voices can be heard.

Conga crushes complexity within an increasingly complex world. With our revenue lifecycle management solution, we transform your unique complexities for order configuration, execution, fulfillment, and contract renewal processes with a single critical insights data model that adapts to ever-changing business requirements and aligns the understanding and efforts of every team.

Our mission: Empower customers to deliver transformational revenue growth by aligning teams, processes, and technology to maximize customer lifetime value.

Our approach is grounded in the Conga Way, a framework for what we stand for and everything we do as an organization — from hiring to decision making and product development. Developed with direct input from our colleagues, the Conga Way is the foundation for our culture.

Reports to: Director, Program Management

A quick snapshot… As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll manage and execute critical, complex IT projects supporting Enterprise Applications for Human Resources and Finance. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders at all levels, including the C-Suite. You’ll support the development of comprehensive project plans from concept, to development, and deployment.

Why it’s a big deal… You’ll work directly with PMO supporting IT projects in all areas of the company. You’ll have high visibility and provide support to a lot of stakeholders. You’ll provide hands-on support to projects that will guide the scaling success of Conga!

Are you the person we’re looking for?

Related experience. You have 7 (or more) years of experience in project management, with a focus on HR and Finance projects for the last 5 (or more) years with the Agile/Scrum methodology. You’re heavily skilled in Jira, Confluence, and MS Office suite through managing projects.

Clear, deliberate, and collaborative communicator. You don’t just engage in collaborative discussions; you regularly initiate them. You are clear and concise when you speak and write -- and even creative in terms of ensuring your messages are received and understood. As a Project Manager, you coordinate and work closely with stakeholders and other project managers to build, create, and present comprehensive project plans and then create. You’re comfortable managing risks and dependencies within teams, leaving no room for assumptions or misunderstanding. It’s what sets you apart from the rest.

Expert relationship cultivator. In addition to the above, it’s important that you anticipate project needs and seamlessly integrate people, products, and business units. You work to understand your business, sometimes better than they know themselves, and can gain trust through your research, data, and quality recommendations.

Initiative. You don’t wait around for things to happen or for your manager to tell you what to do. You’re not only proactive about completing your own work; when you sense the need for a project that will benefit the team or the organization -- even if it’s outside your scope of work -- you create a proposal, talk to the team about it, and own it. That’s the entrepreneurial spirit in action.

Education. You’ve successfully completed a bachelor’s degree. Maybe you’ve even gone on to obtain a master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

Willingness to work a global team schedule. You’re flexible and able to work with remote teams across multiple time zones across North America, Europe, and Asia.

Here’s What Will Give You An Edge…

Resourceful & Collaborative. At Conga, we achieve together-- when you have questions, you find answers; when you’re faced with challenges, you find solutions. You turn to a variety of resources, including your colleagues, professional network, Internet, articles, books -- whatever helps you get the job done. Then you apply that knowledge across the business where it makes sense.

Certifications. You’ve continued your learning through certifications like Project Management Professional, Certified Scrum Master, or other formal certifications.

Systems and tools. You’ve had the opportunity to work in and gain an understanding of ERP and HRIS systems. Experience with NetSuite and Workday will allow you to hit the ground running.

At Conga we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You just might be the right candidate for this or other roles.

Compensation

In the spirit of the Conga Way, we strive to design easy-to-understand compensation programs that are fair and free from any type of discrimination. In keeping with this approach, we are committed to delivering competitive compensation and benefits packages to our colleagues worldwide and communicating transparently about the structure of our compensation programs.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $113,077 to $180,923. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education, or training. We are often open to a wide variety of profiles and sometimes have flexibility within our organizational structure to adjust the role responsibilities up or down should we select a candidate that is less or more experienced than the posted job requirements.
