All about the role:
In this role you will be reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Director of Food Preparation for Electrolux Major Appliances NA. You will be based in Springfield, TN. In this role you will lead project management systems, cross departmental projects and oversee project coordination within the group. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, organization, and communication skills. You will foster collaboration, adherence to systems and team building all while upholding the organization’s core values. You will be responsible for collaborating with other departmental leaders to develop and execute programs and projects.
What you’ll do:

• Evaluate projects within group to ensure they are meeting budget, deadlines, and goals. Develop countermeasures when KPIs are not being achieved.
• Oversee the development of projects and ensuring that task are being carried out efficiently while maintain the group and company standards.
• Interact and communicate on a daily basis with other functions and including plant leadership
• Developing new and improving existing project management tools, processes, and systems
• Research and facilitate innovative solutions for smart and optimal manufacturing processes
• Conduct project reviews, status updates and steering meetings with Sr Leadership
• Collaborate with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects within Group ME. Collaboration will be across all BAs and functions.
• Act as the project leader for the Manufacturing Engineering group including the coordination of master schedules
• Drive specific manufacturing engineering projects.
• Identify if team members require additional training for project execution and provide or organize this training
• Support development of project goals to ensure they meet overall group and company initiatives and deadlines (short term and strategic initiatives).

Qualifications Required:

• 15+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems, process and key performance indicators
• 10+ years’ experience leading and managing projects
• Strong communication skills, problem solving skills and experience leading cross functional teams
• Engineering University degree (Bachelor or Master)
• Experience presenting and communicating to senior leadership levels within a corporation
• Experience with industrial equipment, manufacturing systems, project specifications and bidding process.
