Sr Manager Strategic Program Management (Work From Home)

The Sr Manager of Strategic Program Management will oversee program and project execution, support Agile methodology, and ensure project goals and requirements are met to support strategic objectives for the IS organization. Drive a customer-focused view to develop and manage business, technology, and data-enabled programs and projects, with a focus on Agile delivery. This role will support the business in implementing and executing through Agile principles by engaging with Agile teams, business leaders and stakeholders.
Responsibilities

• Direct planning, problem resolution, implementation and execution of all projects aligned to area of responsibility.
• Partner with Finance and Technology teams to align and prioritize business and technology roadmaps.
• Teach best practices and proven methodologies, implementing frameworks for measuring success and progress
• Mature team members to develop competency and capabilities to enhance delivery and execution outcomes.
• Enhance project prioritization process in assigned area and supported teams.
• Lead complex program and project planning and execution by applying strong delivery practices, tools, and techniques.
• Ensure business management discipline and communication is embedded to achieve strategic objectives
• Provide consulting and expert guidance on all phases of project delivery including business case development, financial impact analysis, project scoping, risk assessment and delivery through Agile methodology.
• Lead implementation and support of agile methodology to support scaling to a mature execution program and incremental project delivery practices.

Qualifications

• Experience building strong customer relationships
• Business leadership, technology acumen, and the ability to influence at all levels
• Outstanding program and project management skills and track record of execution
• Broad strategic thinker with clear vision and direction for change management strategies
• Five years of leadership experience in portfolio management, strategy setting and execution experience working with large scale, cross-functional program and project initiatives
• Ability to facilitate and develop highly effective teams
• Excellent communication, collaboration and time management skills to operate in a fast changing and ambiguous environment
• Bachelor’s degree in a business field or equivalent experience
• Experience in insurance, operations, financial services, or consulting
• Experience developing roadmaps, prioritization, and resource management strategies

Preferred Qualifications

• Considerable experience facilitating and leading meetings, seminars, or teaching events
• At least 5 years as an Agile practitioner, especially in a leadership or coaching role
• Experience gathering data and presenting results to leadership

Compensation:
The Salary for this position generally ranges between $130,000 - $150,000 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential qualifications and operational needs. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2 and other applicable local regulations.
Bonus Eligibility:
This position is also typically eligible for an Annual Bonus of 20% based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company Discretion.
