Job Description

QTC seeks Sr. IT Infrastructure Manager to be responsible for overseeing the implementation of infrastructure technology.

We seek a service oriented leader to oversee staff, designs, operational issues and partnership. Additionally, the Sr. IT Infrastructure Manager will ensure sufficient measures are in place to protect the systems, data, and other information assets.

This remote opportunity is available for candidates based in Eastern Time zone.

In this role, you will:

  • Ensure appropriate disaster recovery plans are in place and are tested at least once per year
  • Communicate effectively with internal clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions and strategies
  • Plan and implement additions, deletions, and major modifications to the supporting infrastructure company-wide in coordination with corporate leadership including moves and expansions
  • Work with CIO, Business Units, and Finance on Technology and IT Infrastructure budget planning and management
  • Continue to expand virtualization and cloud within service ownership as well as other measures to ensure continuous cost reduction and maximum efficiency across QTC IT infrastructure
  • Be responsible for staff oversight to ensure new IT systems operations plans, policies, procedures, and transition/migration plans are consistent with the overall company goals and objectives
  • Be responsible for the operational performance, integrity and availability of the QTC Systems and Infrastructure with a focus on Storage, Backup, Restore, Service Continuity, authentication, F5 and Collaboration, Project consulting
  • Coordinate with various functional business unit managers to support their systems to meet established Service Level Agreements
  • Develop and document company’s Information Technology systems policies and procedures
  • Partner with the teams in developing systems and other infrastructure strategies and standards for the organization
  • Partner w/ corporate IT help desk activities and resolve escalated issues when necessary
  • Anticipate future network needs, and identify proactive solutions to satisfy requirements
  • Oversee maintenance and architecture
  • Maintain and implement latest server and desktop infrastructure to support the deployment of key QTC application solutions including Production, Training, QA, and Development environments
  • Coordinate with external vendors/contractors to meet organizational goals
  • Oversee the planning and management of the company's telephone system, call routing and other telecommunication needs, and manage company-wide upgrade efforts
  • Provide day-to-day mentoring and management of the IT systems and networking team members
  • Enforce standard company IT policies and procedures

Position Requirements:

  • Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation
  • Understanding/use of SDLC, Agile, six sigma to drive fit for purpose technologies
  • 1 years of experience in Cloud technologies
  • Years people management experience
  • Experience with enterprise-wide security, NIST and HIPAA compliance, and working closely with internal and external system auditors
  • 2 years of experience with scripting and automation tools
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field w/ 10 years previous Information Systems management experience – supporting, designing and implementing infrastructure technology – storage, backup, Service Continuity, authentication, SSO, SecureAuth. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • 10 years previous Computer Network development experience

Pay and Benefits:

Salary range $140,000 - $180,000
