Sr. Digital Project Manager (Remote)

Compensation Range: $38 - 48 per hour

We are seeking a Digital Project Manager to join our nonprofit client's Communications and Marketing Operations team. As a Digital Project Manager, you must be comfortable working in an environment where standard processes are evolving, be able to manage multiple projects, and work independently or with a team. You will determine scope, resources needs, and timelines, manage budgets, and evaluate progress. The ideal candidate has a positive, enthusiastic attitude with great teamwork and interpersonal skills, reflecting the ability to interact with cross-functional groups.

This is a fully remote 6-month contract.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
• Lead groups of subject matter experts in discussions and problem-solving activities to advance the delivery of scalable and efficient digital solutions.
• Execute highly complex or specialized projects.
• Look for creative solutions that satisfy business needs and align with our digital strategy, platforms, and best practices.
• Define project scope and objectives.
• Manage project request intake and ticket triage through the workflow ticket system.
• Recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
• Monitor project execution to identify obstacles and deviations from the plan and takes corrective action as needed.
• Articulate and execute digital strategies that support business deliverables.
• Define all project activities, deliverables, and milestones to meet objectives with input from project team members, properly sequence tasks, and identifies the critical path.
• Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
• Identify, coordinate and manage stakeholders and resources for projects and be perceived as a strong project leader.
• Take projects from original concept through final implementation/project closeout.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables.

Qualifications:

• Experience using PM tools.
• Familiarity with Agile development
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is desired.
• Be a critical thinker and able to evaluate information (sometimes conflicting and/or vague) are highly desirable soft skills. Further, successful candidate should understand when to escalate and seek guidance as well.
• Digital Marketing
• Experience at a digital agency is a plus.
• Clear understanding of digital technologies that support large-scale websites.
• Experience level: Experienced
• Skills:
• Strong project management and oral/written communications skills.
• Utilizes specialized depth and breadth of expertise in digital strategy; individual contributor recognized as a subject matter expert.
• Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to direct staff and resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met.
• Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of digital project management work experience.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a high level of trust and confidence with internal business partners.
