Primary Purpose: The Senior Designer will manage the day-to-day responsibilities of the Print Studio. This role will focus on driving the print research and design process for Coach Outlet across all Design categories. The position reports directly to the Senior Design Director of Creative Print.


The successful individual will leverage their proficiency to...

  • Manage all information sharing across Design teams for various product categories and cross-functional partners such as PD teams and merchandising teams
  • Research prints and bring fresh inspiration through original sources and market research
  • Create prints through original artwork or purchased files – clean, color separate and create colorway options
  • Work closely with the Sr design director to realize the Outlet print collection from concept to commercialization
  • Manage a team with one direct report and one apprentice
  • Create and maintain concept and presentation boards
  • Work proactively according to development calendar to stay ahead of timelines
  • Maintain print archives both digitally and physically

  • Highly-developed taste level and sensitivity to color balance
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented – excellent calendar adherence and ownership
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and adapt to change
  • Understanding and enthusiasm for Coach brand
  • Experience developing product directly with factories is a plus; understanding of product development from concept through commercialization
  • Must be skilled at hand drawing and painting
  • 7-10 years of textile design work experience within the fashion industry or related field
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of textiles, embellishments, and performance quality
  • Bachelors Degree in Textile Design, Graphic Design, or related field
  • Must be EXPERT level Photoshop and Illustrator user, proficiency in Ned graphics is a plus
  • Excellent time management skills
