Job Description

We are looking for Mid-Senior SQL Server Developer for our premier client in the Alternative Investments industry preferably with experience in Allvue systems.


Work Authorization:

  • Green Card Holders and US Citizens
  • H1B/TN/L2-EAD/H4-EAD
  • C2C is fine


Location:

  • 100% Remote (US Residents only) - No foreign citizens or non-US Residents
  • Should be able to travel to the client office in New York for quarterly offsite meetings or as required


Qualifications

  • Fully proficient in SQL Development - the ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Code and design (stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints)
  • Expert knowledge in creating complex SQL queries, performance tuning and optimization, using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
  • Ability to detect and troubleshoot SQL Server related I/O, memory, disk space, CPU, and other resource issues
  • Expert knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistics
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, performance issues, connectivity issues, and security issues
  • NET/C# programming experience preferred.
  • 5 to 10+ years of Microsoft SQL server experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Investment Management - understanding of Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and Alternative asset classes such as - Private Equity, Private Credit, Hedge Funds, Funds of Funds, Real Estate, etc.,
  • Experience with Allvue Systems (Black Mountain Everest platform) is strongly preferred as it is the core platform used by the client for portfolio management
