Job Description
Who You Are


An excellent communicator with patience and understanding of a variety of personalities.


Anticipate needs and understand schedules and deadlines.


Able to handle change and adapt to new and creative requests.


Experience as a dedicated theatrical Spotlight Operator with proven experience is preferred.


You Will Have Experience In


Spotlight operation and basic maintenance, following cues and memorizing show tracks, participating in dimmer checks, troubleshooting malfunctioning fixtures and replacing faulty equipment, some overnight work in an indoor theatrical environment, working in and around machinery/ lifts.


What You Will Do


Operate a spotlight for 3 outdoor productions.


Follow directions given by the Head Spotlight Operator.


Be able to understand and execute provided cue sheets


Assist with overnight work calls and installations during technical rehearsals.


Other duties as assigned by Tuacahn leadership.


Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time and lift objects up to 40 lbs


Must be comfortable with heights.


Adhere to and promote all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and maintain a safe work environment

This position is IATSE represented.


Dates: 8/7/23-10/22/23


Rate: $18.50 plus overtime
