What does the job entail?

• Maintain necessary equipment logs and inform supervisor of deficiencies in a timely fashion.
• Operate a Mainline Trackhoe to dig pipeline ditches
• Align and position pipes to prepare them for sealing.
• Cover pipes with earth or other material.
• Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using instruments such as lasers, grade rods, or transit levels.
• Perform routine pre- and post-inspections to ensure proper performance of equipment.
• Install sanitary and storm water sewer structures and pipe systems.
• Lay out pipe routes, following written instructions or blueprints, and coordinating layouts with supervisors.
• Grade and level trench bases.

• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Attention and commitment to safety
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment
• 1 year of experience operating trackhoe
