General Laborer/ Machine Operator

Our Stockton, CA Fabrication shop is seeking hard-working individuals who are looking to further their skills and knowledge in a growing trade.

As a General Laborer/ Machine Operator at PACE Supply, you will be responsible for inspecting and preparing pipe to be bundled, fabricate and repair simple components, perform pipe installations and repairs, and carefully observe workplace safety rules and standards. Hiring for Day shift (300am start) and Swing shift (200pm start), Monday through Friday but must be able to work Saturday's and daily overtime (10-12 hours a day) as needed.

• Able to read paperwork, blueprints, and schematics
• Knowledgeable reading a tape measure and using basic hand tools
• Willingness to be trained to set up, maintain, and run machinery
• Basic mathematical knowledge
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity
• Load and unload products
• Reporting safety hazards within the work environment
• Maintaining equipment and machinery so they can operate safely
• Ability to stand, crouch, and lift objects throughout your shift
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Maintain an orderly, clean, and safe workplace
• Maintaining the understanding of operating procedures for their machines
• Lift 50lbs regularly, team lift if needed
• Steel-toed boots and appropriate safety gear
• 1 year of experience preferred but not required
