Job Description

Professors are responsible for leveraging their expertise to deliver education services to students through:
  • Advising students
  • Delivering courses
  • Recording grades and submitting reports
  • Preparing course plans and materials
  • Monitoring progress/attendance

Background in the sport business as well as marketing/sales/public relations experience would be essential.

Knowledge of the sports industry - especially from a business perspective.

Demonstrated knowledge of outcomes-based assessment methods and implementation of assessment initiatives.

Ability to work independently to assess an inquiry, prioritize workload and formulated timely responses to constituents.

Experience

Required
  • 3 year(s): 3 years teaching in higher education

Education

Required
  • Masters or better in SPORTS MGMT or related field
Preferred
  • PhD or better in SPORTS MGMT or related field
