This position will develop, coordinate, implement, and monitor projects related to the Flint Registry's plans and initiatives. The Flint Registry (https://flintregistry.org/) is a Centers for Diseases Control (CDC) funded project that connects people to services and programs to promote health and wellness and helps understand how the Flint water crisis has affected the Flint community. Driven by the practices and principles of community-partnered work, the Flint Registry was designed, built, and implemented to include and elevate community voices.
This position will provide leadership and be responsible for ensuring that the scope and direction of the Flint Registry and each associated project is on schedule, meets and understands MSU and federal specifications and guidelines, remains within budget, and delivered on time. This position will supervise and train staff working on the Flint Registry, consult and collaborate with faculty and project personnel, and manage the day-to-day activities and funding needed to carry out the Flint Registry project.
This position engages and interacts with residents, community partners, state and federal departments, legal teams, University partners, and scientists. This position will be responsible for reporting the Flint Registry progress to the CDC and scientific leadership, and ensure information is disseminated to the general public. As appropriate, the individual will co-author resource materials and reports distributed to the public and CDC and present information and findings from the Flint Registry.
This position will compile data and information need for new and renewal grant applications for the Flint Registry and associated projects. The individual will work closely with the investigators and research administrators to develop the project budget, write the budget narrative for grant proposals, and prepare the application for submission.

Minimum Requirements
- A minimum of five years of supervisory/managerial and administrative experience.
- Minimum of five to seven years of progressive experience in project management, including project management of multi-million dollar federal grants, reporting to federal agencies and management of finance/budgets

- Demonstrated leadership experience. Proven track record of leading and managing diverse and large teams >30 people.
- Sound fiscal and resource management capabilities.
