Fixed Income Associate - $30/hr contract

We are seeking an individual who is “timely” and needs to process things correctly within a set time otherwise there will be financial repercussions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Evaluating defaulted securities notifications and obtaining proper adjustments from Portfolio Management
• Guaranteeing all aspects of voluntary, proxy, and class action events are thoroughly and accurately completed prior to deadlines
• Collaborating with internal colleagues in their Portfolio Management, Credit Research, Legal & Compliance, Account Management, and IMS Operations teams
• Supervising reviews of corporate action events through reporting discussed with internal and external constituents

Must Have

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with 2-4 years of experience in the financial markets, including coursework or work experience in areas related to investments, or fixed-income analytics
• Strong understanding of Fixed Income fundamentals
• Bloomberg skills and exposure or hands-on experience with SQL, VBA, and Python.
• Prior experience in Corporate Actions, Proxy, Class Actions, or Data Management is required
