To build a credible and lasting voice in gaming, Red Bull is expanding our eSports program by extending our network of local athlete relationships, industry and retail partnerships, and event programs. The Gaming Specialist sits at the front lines of these efforts, responsible for building Red Bull’s presence within local gaming communities and spaces, identifying up and coming talent, and generating ideas for future events and activations.
The Gaming Specialist will work with our Regional sports and marketing leadership to ensure successful deployment of the Red Bull gaming program strategy, event and third-party productions and athlete management programs that will ensure Red Bull remains at the forefront of this playground.
#Program Execution
- Scout the future trends, players, and spaces on where Red Bull shows up in this rapidly changing landscape
- Identify, attend and support events of our partners and work with regional marketing teams to activate these events
- Work with HQ and region marketing teams to build and execute activation programs around key titles, gaming events and local competitions
#Local Community Development
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the local video gaming audience and player landscape (for example, emerging/popular titles, platform trends, etc.)
- Build Red Bull’s presence in local gaming spaces (arcades, LAN centers, etc.) where the brand can credibly show up and support the community of players
- Execute outreach programs to ensure Red Bull Energy Drink is fueling local players
- Identify and build relationships with gaming community leaders, influencers and content creators
#Talent Identification:
- Identify, build, and maintain relationships with up and coming eSports athletes
- Partner with local Red Bull eSports athletes to develop concepts for new gaming events and projects
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of gaming/eSports management and marketing experience
- Strong project management skills and the ability to lead planning, schedules, estimates, budgeting, resource plans and status reports
- Profiency in Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
- Understanding of existing and latest trends within the video game and eSports industries
- Experience with eSports landscape including relevant game titles and publishers/developers, athletes and teams, league and tournament structures, etc.
- Creative thinker with proven ability to design, communicate, and bring compelling eSports products and initiatives to market
Education requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline

The base salary range for this position is $83,705 - $92,515 + cash incentives.
Actual salary offer may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
