L’Oreal USA is excited to announce the establishment of a People Services function, based in Tampa, Florida. The People Services function will take on and centralize critical, operational Human Resources work with a goal of increasing collaboration, leveraging shared knowledge, and creating a more consistent employee experience. What You Will Learn
We are looking for a Benefits Specialist to provide daily operational and administrative support for the Company’s benefit programs in accordance with plan documents and provisions and overall company policies and procedures. This is a unique and exciting role as you’ll have the opportunity to work on both health & welfare and retirement programs, including an active and open Pension plan. You will interact with employees, payroll, human resources, finance, as well as all other benefit service providers supporting L’Oréal benefit plans.
Responsibilities Include
  • Supporting the payment and tracking of benefit costs (self-insured claims, fees, insured premiums, 401(k) match, vendor invoices) to reconcile with finance reporting
  • (including but not limited to onsite skin cancer screenings, biometric screenings, flu shots, retirement readiness meetings)
  • Providing ongoing support for the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) and benefits teams
  • Supporting acquisition activity related to employee integration to benefit plans
  • Communicating with internal teams and third-party vendor partners to resolve escalated employee issues
Required Qualifications
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
  • Have 2+ years of experience in a benefits-related function
  • Be comfortable with facilitating employee meetings and presenting benefits content, both virtually and in-person.
  • Be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Can maintain complete confidentiality of employee records
  • Have strong financial data analytics and problem-solving abilities
  • Exhibit a professional attitude with a sense of urgency in completing tasks
  • Possess a college degree in a related field (human resources, finance, etc.)
  • Have proficiency (advanced capability) in Microsoft Office Suite of products. Specifically, Excel (VLOOKUPs, macros, pivot tables), PowerPoint (animations, embedding, Master slide management), Word, and Outlook.
