About The Role:


CHANEL is looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our Beauty Marketing Team in New York City. You will play a supporting role in managing and executing US product launches and maintaining on-going business optimization. This role interfaces with cross functional teams and is a key partner for global counterparts to ensure success and efficiency across brands. Our ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience and a passion for business, product, and the evolving state of retail.

Position Logistics:


  • Minimum 3 years’ experience (luxury preferable)
  • Open to new ideas and actively builds networks to achieve goals
  • Strong working knowledge of excel
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong computer skills (All Microsoft Office programs)


What Skills You Will Learn:

  • Support US Makeup 360 strategy & execution
  • Create launch submissions in bizagi and manage updates in a timely manner
  • Partner on internal survey creation to gather qualitative field campaign feedback
  • Campaign analysis to identify success, learnings, and areas of opportunity (both product performance and events, quantitative and qualitative)
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Creative, VM, Production, Sales Ops, Education, E-retail on executing animations (programs and budget)
  • Create Launch Briefs (partnering with above teams on all necessary information)
  • Manage forecasting process for seamless launch execution
  • Support Manager in campaign & product launch execution
  • Create campaign COGNOS pull and update scorecard monthly
  • Ad hoc analysis when needed in excel
  • Ensure launch forecasts are accurately captured in budget and launch files
  • Create detailed recaps that include best practices and key learnings of launches, events, initiatives, and cross-functional feedback
  • Support Manager in maintain the promotional budget & allocation of promotional spend
  • Creative briefing processes for in-store & online (e-retail & chanel.com) experiences
  • Help forecast US launches
  • Aid in project management initiatives and timeline creation to ensure workload and initiatives are efficient across teams


Additional Information:


The anticipated base salary range for this position is $60,700 through $92,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other components [may/will] include additional compensation, benefits, and perks.

    • Base salary, bonus potential and other forms of variable pay [may/will be] offered for this position
