Description
- Identifies, hires, coordinates, and contracts with various entertainers and performance groups.
- Coordinates appropriate permits, licenses, and approvals during event planning process
- Assists with planning, coordination and implementation of events and programs.
- Manages special projects as assigned
- Assists with logistics for events including site supervision, staffing and volunteers.
- Serve as liaison between community groups, performers, vendors, etc.,
- Assists with establishing marketing needs
- Routes contracts, creates purchase orders and processes payments
- Manages charges and expenditures related to programming
- Assist in preparing event budgets
- Experience planning special events, programs and classes
- Bilingual/Multilingual a plus
- Experience with special events equipment
- Enthusiasm for and knowledge of special events
- Previous customer service experience.
- Tolerance for working in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, humidity, and cold.
- Ability to walk at least half a mile and up and down moderate hills without difficulty.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for at least two hours at a time.
