Role Description:


This is a part-time hybrid role for a Special Events Manager located in New York, NY, with some flexibility for remote work. The Special Events Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing special events to engage and grow the Belong community. The Special Events Manager will also be responsible for developing partnerships with local businesses and securing sponsorship for events.


Qualifications:


  • Experience with social media marketing and digital content creation is a plus
  • Ability to think creatively and outside the box
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for community building and connecting people with similar interests
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Planning, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Event planning and execution experience
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Experience in developing and managing partnerships and sponsorships
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
