Details

• August 14th, 2023 - May 24th, 2024
• All offered positions are full-time and On-site
• Caseloads available
• Hourly Rate: $38-$42/hour
• Resource classroom settings, Cognitive Impairment and Emotional Impairement are present
• Elementary, Middle, and High School grade levels available

Responsibilities

• Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support student learning and success.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with a variety of disabilities.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.

Requirements

• Valid Michigan teaching certificate with endorsement in Special Education.
• Cognitive Impairment endorsement *where required
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Emotional Impairment endorsement *where required
