Full-Time Special Education Teacher - Saginaw, Mi (2023/2024 School Year)

Responsibilities

• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and academic success
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Use evidence-based practices to address students' unique learning needs and ensure progress towards academic and social-emotional goals
• Collaborate with other educators, administrators, and parents to support student learning and development

Requirements

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Michigan teaching certification in Special Education
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including those with autism, emotional/behavioral disorders, and/or developmental disabilities
