Job Description


Job Title: Full-Time Special Education Teacher (Contract) Location: Saginaw, Michigan


: Spindle, a leading education services provider, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher for a full-time contract position in Saginaw, Michigan. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing quality education and support to students with special needs, helping them reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.


Responsibilities


  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure students' educational goals are met.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and learning.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Create engaging lesson plans tailored to each student's unique learning requirements.
  • Monitor student progress and make necessary adjustments to instructional strategies.
  • Provide direct instruction, support, and guidance to students in various subjects.


Details


  • Pay $38-42 per hour


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Experience working with students with special needs.
  • Valid Michigan teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
