Full-Time Special Education Teacher In Saginaw, Mi For The 2023/2024 School Year

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team at Spindle, a leading educational institution in Saginaw, MI. This is a full-time position for the 2023/2024 school year, providing an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
• Utilize a variety of teaching techniques, resources, and technology to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
• Provide instruction and support in various subjects to cater to the unique learning needs of students.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, ensuring their academic, social, and emotional growth.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of special education laws, policies, and practices.
• Experience working with students with diverse needs, including but not limited to learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and emotional/behavioral disorders.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid Michigan teaching certification with an endorsement in Special Education.
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
