Job Description


Spindle is helping a school district in Saginaw, MI look for a qualified Special Education Teacher to fulfill a full-time position for the upcoming 2023-24 School Year. Working with Spindle gives you the flexibility of choosing preference such as caseload and location as we negotiate the ideal contract for you and align that with the District's needs! This district is looking for K-12th grade coverage with multiple caseload options. Interested? See details below!


Details


  • Resource and cognitive impairment positions
  • Start: Upcoming 2023-24 School Year
  • Caseload: this district has multiple vacancies that allows the consultant to express their preferences, as long as it aligns with the district's needs. Typical caseloads contain 24-35 students across grades K-12th. Special Educator will implement IEP plans for students with mild-moderate disabilities that fall within the Autism spectrum, express learning or developmental disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders. Further caseload requirements to be discussed during interview.
  • Schedule: Full-time, onsite (Guarantees 37.5 Hours/Week)


Requirements


  • Must be comfortable creating IEP plans and documenting progress towards expressed goals for caseloads of K-12th grade students up to 35 students.
  • Must hold current and active MI Special Education License with Cognitive Impairment or Emotional Impairment Endorsement
