Workplace: Onsite in Portland OR area.

Schedule: Monday - Friday business hours

Pay rate: $29-36/hour.

Overview

The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for the sourcing, price negotiation, and inbound supply of strategic items.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to SOPs and recommends improvements.
• Obtains and assesses quotes, presenting details of cost breakdown and course of action to the Supply Chain Manager
• Complies with internal food safety policies and procedures including adherence to FDA regulations, Safe Quality Food (SQF) Standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Works closely with all parties involved to resolve quality, delivery, and supply issues.
• Maintains vendor relationships.
• Complies with all company policies and procedures and operates all equipment in a safe and food-safe manner.
• Responsible for reporting food safety and quality concerns to Supervisors and/or Department Managers.
• Continuously reviews the supply chain to ensure an adequate and diverse supply of ingredients.
• Ensures that all paperwork associated with inbound orders is correct and accurate.
• Coordinates the timely receipt of raw materials to meet material requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and PowerBI applications
• 2 or more years of experience in buying or procurement.
• Experience in using ERP systems in supply chain or manufacturing settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field.
