Sourcing Assistant Manager Jobs

Job Summary
Assist the product development process for At Home stores. Enable everyone to affordably make their house a home.
Key Roles And Responsibilities

• Requests and tracks Import Quote Sheets
• Anticipates issues ahead of team members to develop contingencies to meet project timelines and minimize risks
• Tracks returned offers from Product Partners
• Tracks and manages the Project Tracker to ensure that development of products is timely
• Communicates directives and specs as agreed upon by the team
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of category performance sales, margin and sell-through
• Requests and tracks Cost Template delivery to Merchants
• Monitors deadlines and reviews with team during weekly meetings and escalates when meeting the deadline becomes an issue
• Requests information from product partner
• Sends specialty packaging to Product Partners
• Build collaborative relationships with business and support teams
• Assists team in mock store setups
• Assists Sourcing Manager in planning development trips and style outs
• Responsible for KPI reporting on design ratios and adoption rates
• Reviews weekly and requests missing/late information
• Monitors and enforces the Integrated calendar for optimum operational efficiency
• Perform other duties assigned by the Sourcing Manager
• Manages communication with Product Partners

Qualifications And Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, highly detail oriented, meticulous and creative
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Superior teamwork skills
• 1+ years’ experience and/or training in product development or buying/merchandising
• Excellent written and verbal communication ability
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
