Solutions Architect (Pre-Sales) Jobs

As a Solutions Architect, you will report to the Director, Solutions Architects and focus on pre-sales engineering. You’ll work with our Sales team to provide our customers consultative guidance on using AWS and related technologies. Your job sits at the intersection of business and technology and requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to solve complex technical problems, and a commitment to continuous learning.

This position is 100% remote with some travel required.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, architecture, system designs, technology roadmaps, project scopes, and AWS cost estimates for prospective and existing customers
• Advance Mission relationships with AWS and technology partners
• Implement technical-based sales motions such as security reviews, migration assessments, and cost analyses
• Provide technical guidance to the Mission Sales team
• Provide expert technical guidance to prospective customers on issues related to migrating, building, managing, and optimizing workloads in AWS
• Contribute to achievement of sales quotas

Requirements

• Must be able and willing to manage up to 10% travel
• Ability to work with Infrastructure as code and automation and configuration management and orchestration
• Abillity to work with application development lifecycle
• Ability to build architecture design, diagramm, and develop scopes of work
• Ability to work with Linux and Windows implementations, products, and technologies
• Ability to work with AWS best practices, migration techniques, cloud cost management practices and tooling, cloud security principles and services, and disaster recovery
• Two AWS Associate certifications or one AWS Professional certification (required within 90 days of hire)
• Ability to work directly with customers with a variety of business requirements on technology challenges
• Ability to work in a Customer Facing Consulting and/or Sales Engineer role

$140,000 - $175,000 a year
