As a Technology Solutions Architect, your primary responsibility will be driving growth by partnering with the sales team to solve complex problems for DAS Health’s healthcare enterprise clients by designing technology architecture. This role will serve as the technology lead point of contact for all matters within the sales process and key strategic enterprise clients including but not limited to, anticipating the client’s needs through a technical discovery process, aligning the client’s needs to Das health services, drafting scope documents and working with sales to price managed services provider (MSP), Cybersecurity, and Cloud Hosting services.
Responsibilities:
- Support ad-hoc reporting needs.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the IT procurement function.
- Mediate supplier issues and resolve disputes.
- Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Review procurement items for categorization, coding, pricing, and information accuracy in the items database and request catalog.
- Manage existing vendor partnerships to ensure products and services are provided with competitive pricing and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other departments such as production, sales, and finance to ensure alignment in procurement and logistics strategies.
- Work within multiple email aliases in a high volume of communications and ticketing systems workflow.
- Other duties, as required.
- Inform stakeholders of PO issuance and any other details regarding orders.
- Basic preparation of hardware configuration.
- Obtain quotes, compare, and negotiate pricing.
- Place purchase orders and track their status to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Utilize tools and systems to communicate and collaborate effectively, while staying extremely organized.
- Evaluate sourcing requests and ensure completeness.
- Manage daily IT hardware/software requests and issue Purchase Orders, as needed.
- Follow each order to ensure all items are received.
Requirements:
- Ability to convey technical language to other stakeholders often in non-technical terms.
- Proven work experience as a Solution Architect or similar role is required.
- Ability to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Detailed oriented with a professional demeanor.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate with all stakeholders such as software engineers, management, clients, and vendors.
- A bachelor’s degree in information technology (computer science preferred) or equivalent experience in a professional environment is required.
- 4+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications or infrastructures; preferably within the healthcare space.
- Experience working with external customers (Pre-sales, consulting, technology/software sales).
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to travel overnight (20%).
- Sound knowledge of various computer systems, operating systems, database management, and system security.
- Working knowledge of: On prem physical Windows Servers to include Hyper-v, Azure Infrastructure, features, and functions, and Network infrastructure (routers, switches, wireless apps).
- High energy with strong initiative, unquestionable reliability, and follow-through, self-directed and organized.
