This role can be based in San Francisco, CA, Sunnyvale, CA, Chicago, IL, New York, NY, Omaha, NE or Detroit, MI OR Remote, depending on which location the applicant chosen for the role is currently residing.

The xLOB Sales Operations Systems & Tools team manages tooling for LinkedIn’s Global Business Organization (GBO). Spanning systems design, business analysis, product management, process optimization, and business strategy, you will gain a broad spectrum of experience applying your technical skills to drive strategy and push the Sales Operations efficient frontier to increase productivity, Go-To-Market speed and agility, and improve our Talent experience.


This role will be a good fit for a candidate with exceptional quantitative, communication, and project management skills. You will have the opportunity to apply your deep understanding of System Design to streamline and enhance business-critical processes including planning, forecasting, quota management, reporting capabilities end-to-end while influencing our broader systems strategy at LinkedIn.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide technical direction to all Anaplan model builders in the implementation of various Anaplan projects
  • Ensure governance and standards are met or exceeded by providing guidance to Anaplan technical and non-technical team members via the Anaplan Center of Excellence (CoE)
  • Own the architecture of one or more Anaplan models ensuring the solution is designed, implemented, and maintained in a way that meets business requirements and delivers value to our users
  • Balance multiple priorities at the same time while managing project resources, and works across cross-functional teams to deliver impact
  • Act as voice of the Business user to optimize the end-user experience for your Anaplan models
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to plan and build the optimal platform across LinkedIn’s tool ecosystem
  • Partner closely with business stakeholders to capture and translate business requirements into user-stories and Anaplan Architecture following best-in-class design principles


Qualifications


Basic Qualifications:


  • 7+ years of work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Computer Science, Economics, Business, Engineering or other quantitative fields, OR equivalent experience


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Highly Analytical: Experience decomposing and solving real-world business problems, ideally building/using advanced Excel models. SQL and Tableau a plus
  • Initiative and Ownership: Ability to act with limited oversight on a day-to-day basis, balancing multiple priorities
  • Sales Operations: Knowledge of the end-to-end Financial Planning & Budgeting Process, including forecasting, headcount planning, spend management and leverage this knowledge to design and deliver the necessary solutions
  • Experience building and implementing end-to-end Anaplan solutions
  • Anaplan Experience: 3+ years of experience in successfully implementing Anaplan solutions as a Solution Architect OR experience implementing 6 or more Anaplan projects as a Model Builder
  • CRM Data Expertise: Knowledge of reporting and dashboarding with data from a CRM, preferably in Microsoft Dynamics and PowerBI
  • Anaplan Platform Certification: Solution Architect, and Master Anaplanner certification preferred
  • Effective Communications: Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations
  • Proactive and passionate about results: Independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in challenging situations
  • Tech Industry or SaaS experience: Subject matter expertise in B2B sales processes and/or experience working in high-growth, performance-focused environments
  • Adaptable to change: Excited by working in a quickly evolving team
  • Problem-Solver: Comfortable with data and ambiguity; able to both delve into the details and operational tactics and engage meaningfully in the big picture or overall strategy

The pay range for this role is $123,000- $193,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
