The Role

We are looking for a qualified candidate for the position of Solution Architect – Web

Technologies to join our high performing team.

As a Solution Architect you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, evaluating,

and presenting options for solutions, ensuring quality and alignment of multiple systems in your

designs, and participating in solution design and best practices adoption.

You will also be responsible for the development, communication, and implementation of the

organization & technology architecture and the design of applications and integration components

required to support it.

We expect you to have advanced design and development skills in key technologies (articulated

below).

We expect you to have a history of enterprise application and integration development and

several years of experience creating enterprise architectures and solutions.

We are looking for candidates to be collaborative, communicative, and confident in working

with business and IT groups in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Experience

• Experience working in the insurance industry P&C sector is mandatory.
• Responsive user interface design and development expertise.
• 8+ years of experience in Solution Architecture.
• Experience Configuring IIS.
• 5+ years professional development experience with SQL using Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• 5+ years development/design experience in .NET, .Net core,ASP.NETMVC, WebAPI,ASP.NETWeb Forms.
• Proven expertise in enterprise-grade, Internet-facing web applications for business users (e.g.: security, RESTful Web API design, SOAP API, HTTP in-depth, test automation in the browser).
• 2+ years in design and building SPA applications using AngularJS, Angular, ReactJS,HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, JQuery, GraphQL.
• Solution Architecture experience in Insurance Domain (Duckcreek, Guidewire, etc)

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Claims Center, Policy Decision.
• Experience with Web Forms development and any Content Management System is a plus.
• Experience developing mobile solutions for IOS, and Android mobile devices is a plus.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus.
• Experience developing and integrating web sites with various social media API is a plus.

Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of Unit testing frameworks and SOAPUI/ReadyAPI/Postman.
• Advanced knowledge of SOA principles, design patterns, implementation
• Methodologies,and related tools.
• Deep understanding of database design and data modeling.
• Knowledge of enterprise portal design concepts such as integration, security,
• Knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile development processes, projects and deliverables.
• Collaboration, personalization, SSO, taxonomy classification and federation.
• Advanced knowledge of Object-Oriented Design and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Strong Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies required.
