We are seeking an engineering intern for our GigaSMART team. The candidate will be working as part of a dynamic team and be responsible for designing and implementing security-related technologies. The candidate will work with cross-functional groups to contribute to software architecture and design. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a very fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Help develop innovative network security solutions to expand Gigamon portfolio
• Work closely with Gigamon networking and security experts
• Design and develop software for a high-performance network security and observability solution

What You’ve Done

• Expert in C/C++/go coding
• Currently enrolled or recent graduates in EE/CS
• Knowledge in Internet and Security protocols especially TCP/IP, TLS
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Kafka a big plus

Who You Are

• Excellent written/oral communication skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High GPA

The the hourly compensation range targeted for this role based out of Gigamon's Santa Clara, CA, Headquarters office is $30/hr. This range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices.
