Software Engineer (Summer 2023 Internship)

This is an ONSITE Internship role in Freemont, California. Summer 2023.

What you will accomplish together with us:

• Web UIs built on React
• DSP algorithm development and testing for our BLI optical system
• Python (numpy, SciPy, Jupyter, etc.) for internal research
• Embedded ARM software running Linux
• Automated build, test, and deployment with Azure DevOps
• SQLServer and SQLite database programming
• Docker
• Test automation with Selenium, TestComplete, and Ranorex
• Statistical analysis software running on Windows

What will convince us:

• Must have strong personal initiative and be results oriented
• Completed at least the first year of the major courses
• Enrolled fulltime in a 4-year accredited university
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Working towards an academic degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a comparable scientific field
• Experience in at least one of these languages: C, C++, C#, or Python

Compensation for this position will be a base salary of $20.00/hour depending on experience. (Higher starting salaries may be available in other locations based on geographic differentials.)
