Linqto is a marketplace for accredited investors to purchase privately held shares in pre-IPO companies with as little as $10,000. We are a leader in liquidity in the private sector, providing accredited investors access to affordable investment opportunities in the world’s top unicorns. Traditionally, only 2% of the world’s accredited investors have legal access to the world’s private markets. Linqto utilizes a technology-enabled platform to address this issue by providing a liquid investing environment for the other 98% to also invest in unicorns before they go public. Our platform ultimately makes the private securities asset class accessible, while reducing costs and saving time with the flexibility of trading directly on the mobile app.

About the Role:

We are a 100% remote team!

We are looking for a driven backend engineer who is enthusiastic about fintech products and has strong skills in developing secure and highly scalable software.

What you will do:

· Work with Java Spring Boot and MySQL.

· Produce high-quality maintainable code, test it, collaboratively review it and ship it.

· Identify areas to improve and scale our architecture and application design.

· Work efficiently in a constantly changing and growing environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are desired.

· Collaborate remotely with the product owner and other team members.

What we are looking for:

· Bachelor's/Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field

· 5+ years' experience shipping high-scale code to production

· Fluent in object-oriented languages such as Java or C#

· Working experience with Java Spring Boot is a plus

· Experience with MySQL

· Strong communicator

· Enjoy solving problems and helping others meet their goals

Compensation is commensurate with experience. Compensation will include salary, equity, participation in a profit-sharing bonus plan, and benefits.
